Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is any time after 14:00pm.
Check-out is no later than 10:00am.
Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?
Yes we do.
A valid credit card will be pre authorised for $200 OR a $200 cash bond needs to be given, which will be returned to the guest on departure once the apartment has been checked by management.
Q: Are there lifts at Portobello?
Please note that Portobello is a 3 storey walk-up building which means we do not have lift access.
If you require a ground floor apartment please be sure to request this at the time of booking – we will try to accommodate the request the best we can.
Q: What are your office hours?
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday 9am – 1pm
Sunday 9am – 12 midday
In house guests can contact the Manager outside of these hours from the telephone in their apartment.
There is also an after hours telephone located outside reception for emergencies.
Q: Is after hours check-in available?
Yes, when you arrive please pick up the telephone located outside reception and the after hours service will give you a code to the safe where your keys will be.
An envelope with your name on it will have a welcome letter inside explaining where your apartment is and how to use the keys.
Just pop down and see us the following morning after 9am to register and pay any remaining accommodation.
Q: How often are the apartments serviced?
As the apartments are fully self contained they are not serviced daily.
However if you stay for 8 nights or more, your apartment will receive a mid stay linen change. If you require extra linen during your stay this can be organised for a minimal charge.
Q: What does self contained mean?
Self contained means that guests contain the apartments themselves.
All we ask is that guests remove their rubbish and do their dishes on departure to help assist with the cleaning procedure.
This policy is standard for all self contained apartments on the Gold Coast.
Q: What is supplied in the apartments?
The apartments are supplied with a starter pack to get you through the first night which consists of a toilet roll, soap, shampoo, dish washing liquid, laundry powder and tea/coffee/milk.
All of the apartments have a full kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, stove top, crockery), full laundry facilities (washing machine, dryer, tub), iron/ironing board, clothes airer, vacuum cleaner, flat screen television with Cable channels, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and blankets.
Complementary WiFi access is also available for all guests
Q: Is there car parking available?
Yes, each apartment comes with one undercover secure car space.
Q: Is WiFi access available?
We offer free wireless Internet access to all of our holiday guests.
Q: Is the pool heated?
Yes usually all year round to about 28 degrees.
